Blacklists track IP addresses, not domains, so this tool looks up the domain's MX record, resolves that mail server's IP, and checks that IP against Barracuda, SpamCop, and UCEPROTECT Level 1. If the mail server belongs to a major shared provider like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, the result is flagged as such, since it reflects that provider's shared reputation, not anything specific to this one domain.
